Here We Go Again...

GOOD GRIEF!!

As if we don't have enough craziness going on around here, what with tornadoes and all? We are supposed to get some snow on Sunday.

For all of you who get like 80 gazillion inches per year, we get like 4 and everything shuts down. Then the snow melts during the day, freezes and people crash their cars the next day.

It's all fun and games for a little bit but then my paws get cold and I just want to go inside and sleep next to Momma on the couch. And I know that my Sibe friends (Thundering Herd, Khyra, OP Pack) are gasping in horror.

Us Boxers just don't have the fuzziness necessary to enjoy this snow!

Nikki and McIver are better equipped- maybe Cheoh can teach them the snow slide!

Now for your viewing pleasure... pictures of us!

Nikki loves the snow. Isn't she pretty?

  1. We may have to head your way because they are predicting a very low snowfall amount for us this year:( Maybe you would like the snow more if you got some coats and boots.

  3. We had our first snowfall of the year in PA yesterday, and it was Lucy's first experience with snow... We had a lot of fun! I think she liked the effect the snow had on her boxer zoomies... Do you get the zoomies in the snow?

  5. We DO get zoomies in the snow!! They are WAY fun! I tuck my fanny and zoom it on home! And Lucy did get a coat recently but I am not a good sport about wearing clothes when I play and stuff! I like to wrestle it off and then eat it! Momma tried putting shoes on me once and I doubt that will ever happen again...she's knows better!

  6. I have to admit - I love zoomies in the snow!! But it helps that mom stops functioning and refuses to leave the house and brave the roads so we all play and snuggle. Snowed in is the best!

They're saying we might get some on Sunday too.. if not, would you send me some?

Glad you're safe and sound after that terrible weather!

  7. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow night! I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

Do you boxers ever wear coats when it gets cold out? I know ours help us out a lot!

  8. My family lives in Memphis now and they say the city totally shuts down if there's even a bit of snow, which is funny because as a kid we still had school even if it snowed several feet. Miss M also didn't like the snow, with her short hair, but Mr. B loves being outside so he puts up with it. Looks like you're all having a great time!

  10. You certainly are getting all of the major weather elements in a short period of time. I hope that a plague of locusts is not next on the agenda.

  14. SERIOUSLY? You're maybe gonna gets SNOW? We've hardly had any at all in Collie-rado. Humph! I like to play in the snow a lot but I'm like you - when my paws get cold, it's Most Wonderful to go inside and gets nice and warmed up!

  17. Riley loves snow. We rarely get it here though. Last year we had about 7 inches one time and that was the biggest snowfall we've had in years. The schools closed down year before last because snow was predicted in the forecast. It didn't even end up snowing a single flake that day and the kids still got off of school...it was crazy. My sister has two Boxers and I know they're not well equipped fur-wise to play in the snow for too terribly long.
