Entertainment: Second Installation

For our second installation of "Entertainment",
I present to you a project that Calhoun completed all on his own...
The day that my new siding was completed. I let Calhoun out to do his business and this is what he does- to my BRAND NEW siding that I saved for forever. He had pulled this entire end cap up. Apparently he didn't like the color...

PeeS1. I just ordered more siding and we'll replace it before we eventually sell the house.
PeeS2. We just pressure washed the house last month but it is already dirty thanks to the digging habits of my little preciouses!

Oh what's that you say? Why is there a drain with no downspout?
We heard a noise and rushed out to find this...

Ummm... yeah. THIS was a team effort.
As a whole- normally- our Heartbeats are very well-behaved. Often times, we watch them from the window. They chase each other and play silly games. Bitey-face is a favorite. We spend a lot of time on our patio when it isn't 100 degrees.
They've never broken anything that couldn't be fixed so what can we do? We usually get a little ticked, shake our heads and ask,
"How did they do that?"

  1. This is most curious. Apparently the pups are not fans of your home improvement choices. I personally don't care for downspouts either as they make it difficult to stand under the gutter with your mouth open for fresh rain water.

  2. I like your attitude! We put in all tile so we didn't care as much if they made a mess on the floor.

  4. Hahaha!

Reminds me of the pit bulls we had as a kid. They would bite through chain link fences to get a taste of that sweet, sweet freedom.

Fortunately Skeletor is not much of a houdini. I hope it stays that way. He could easily escape our back yard if he really wanted to.

  5. Haven't you heard? It's part of the Dog Code that we must keep life interesting for our humans.

  6. Ooooooo! That does not look good! Suddenly, I'm glad I'm not the dog around here with the biggest teeth!

  7. I love that the destruction was a group effort. Gotta love what they can do to our lovely homes. I noticed to giant holes this morning near our home. I am not sure where she was headed but they were deep.

  9. Uh-oh! Sounds like Calhoun and the rest of your babies weren’t quite as happy with your new siding as you are. I hope you were able to repair everything without spending too much. Is downspout repaired and put back already?
