Home Sweet Home

Thank Dogness! Momma and Daddy are home for a while. They returned from Charleston SC. Here is a picture...

So anyways, Nikki here to say hello. I don't get to talk much because I, frankly, have a condition called Attention Deficit Disorder according to Momma and Daddy. I am incredibly **SQUIRREL!** intelligent but get distracted easily. As you know I belong to Dogs for Autism but my home is with Momma and Daddy. I take care of Lucy Mae because sometimes she doesn't listen and I have to herd her back to Momma and Daddy. I also enjoy taking competitive obedience classes with Momma. This helps me focus my attention. Here is me on my way to class.

I try VERY hard to be a good girl but sometimes I focus on the wrong thing like an imaginary toy in the couch cushion. I even dug through the cushion to find that toy. I know it was there. OOOHHH falling leaf.... Ahem, oh sorry. I also like to focus on catching frisbees.
People are also very interesting to me. I really, really enjoy people and never miss an opportunity to sniff. I also give the sweetest little kisses with just the tip of my tongue.
So thanks for reading about me. It's really tough being the only Germie in a Boxer house but Calhoun and Lucy are very good to me and **BIRD!!** teach me how to have fun.
Licks,
Nikki

  1. A Box of Boxers and only one Germie??? Doesn't seem fair to me.. I'm thinkin' you need three or four Dachshunds to even thingys out.

  2. It's so nice to meet you! I'm so interested in your Dogs for Autism life. I better go back and read the earlier posts again, I must have missed the details! I'm a little shy but my sister Cali is training to be a therapy doggie. Is it similar to what you do?

  4. *looks both ways* Okay, all the Greyhounds are sleeping! I completely understand where you're coming from! I'm the only Shepherd in a house full of Greyhounds. They're pretty fun, but impossible to herd! I just started going to obedience school myself, so that Dad and I can do some rally and stuff! Nice to meet you!
