Welcome to Our Blog!!

We are furry excited to introduce our family to you. We've been following a ton of blogs including MaxMom (We miss you Max!) to The Thundering Herd & The Chronicle of Woos and then we found that Puddles Duddles Rainwater is our neighbor!

WHAT!?!

Oh no, we aren't THAT neighbor. Our Mom & Dad love us to bits! We are furry lucky! Mom & Dad live by the words of Paula Deen. She says that heartbeats make a home!

The Heartbeats include...

It all started when Mom got a cat named Harry. Harry is a wild and crazy kitteh that spent time on the streets but he's kind of a momma's boy.

Six months later, she rescued Lilly. Lilly is blind-ish and very sweet but rules the house with an iron paw! AND has needle sharp claws!!!

THEN, Mom's "boyfriend at the time" decided he wanted a dog- a puppy! Surprisingly, puppies were a lot of work. You have to feed them and stuff! Duh! To make a long story short, this is where I came in. My name is Calhoun. I picked Mom because she loved me more and Mom ditched "boyfriend at the time". I had Mom all to myself for a long time!

I am my Momma's heart dog forever and always. She trained me up to be a Therapy Dog! Who knew a hard-headed Boxer Bulldog mix could be TRAINED?

Mom met Dad, fell in luuuuvvv and they got hitched.
BUT not before they rescued...

a sweet little girl name Lucy Mae! Somebody tied this poor thing to a gas
meter and fed her "occasionally"!!

She LOVES her Daddy like I love my Momma!

THEN MOM GOT A BRILLIANT IDEA! OH BROTHER!!!

Thank dogness I am willing to humor her ideas!

We got involved with Dogs for Autism. The first dog we had decided he didn't really want to be a working dog.

Then we got Nikki! She is full of energy which is good cuz she'll have puppies that will grow up to be service dogs one day!

So that's us- ~~The Heartbeats~~ !
We are very lucky to have Mom & Dad and they are lucky to have us!
Thanks to Puddles for encouraging us to start this. We hope you'll visit us because we have tons of adventures from hiking to swimming to training. Mom is gonna have to figure this bloggin' thing so be patient. Computers make her say bad words...
LOVE & ADMIRATIONS,
The Heartbeats

  12. Welcome to blogging - we forgot to come say hi yesterday when we read about you at Puddles' place. She had so much news to share and so many bloggies for us to visit that we missed this one. We are flattered to read that you have been following our blog. We have been very negligent lately with our posts and we will be off the air for a bit now. But we did want to say hi and do stop by our place too.
